Michigan Law LL.M. Graduation
The end of my time at Michigan Law marks another chapter in my journey. I knew it would be a lot and that everything would happen so fast, and it really did—adapting to a new environment, getting to know new people, endless reading, exams, expanding my network, and job hunting, all within nine months. While the student speaker was giving her speech, I couldn't hold back my tears because it really resonated with how I had been feeling over the past year. Being at law school is not only about casebooks and cold calls. I'm constantly learning to become a better version of myself. I didn't expect that I would put so much time and effort into navigating different kinds of relationships, which can be hard and challenging. During this process, I sometimes felt exhausted, but most of the time, after going through it, I felt like I was learning from the experience and getting to know myself better.
